Developer gets green light for 10,000 sq ft office building

How the offices could look

Clowes Developments has received planning permission for a 10,000 sq ft office building at the EMDC in Castle Donington.

The two-storey building can be completed by the end of 2021 and could be split into two 5,000 sq ft floorplates, says Clowes, should an occupier come forward.

Paul Shanley, director at Clowes Developments, said: “With excellent links to the UK’s main arterial motorway (M1), close proximity to the East Midlands Airport for commercial passenger and logistical flights, and a stone’s throw away from the newly developed East Midlands Parkway railway station, EMDC is an excellent spot for businesses looking to relocate. This combined with our experience of building quality developments across the UK makes this particular build ideal for occupiers looking for a prestigious office and investors looking for a small pension fund opportunity.”

Savills and FHP Property Consultants are joins agents on the scheme.
