Plans revealed for apartment scheme next to Trent Bridge cricket ground

Plans for a mixed-use scheme to be built opposite the Trent Bridge cricket ground have been revealed.
Keystone Homes (Midlands) wants to build the scheme on long-derelict land at 15 Radcliffe Road and the corner of Pavilion Road, which was last used as a filling station over a decade ago.
Now, Keystone Homes wants to build a part six-, part four- storey and part on-storey scheme that will include a unit for commercial use on the ground floor and 22 one- and two-bedroom apartments on the upper floors.
There will also be space for 24 bikes to be parked in a cycle store.
A planning statement reads: “The application site is a prominent, derelict corner that has been vacant for over a decade and currently detracts from the appearance of the local street scene. The scheme is therefore considered to represent a significant opportunity to enhance the appearance of the locality.”
