People: Blueprint Interiors; Fortus

Workplace consultants and office fit-out specialists Blueprint Interiors has announced two new senior appointments.
Joining the team are experienced project designer Hannah Morris and bid manager, Neil Fox.
Morris has a degree in interior design and will work with clients to understand their brief and transform their vision into reality.
She said: “I am really excited about the opportunity to grow and develop my knowledge and experience within a company that has a strong culture and a welcoming work environment. I found their ‘people-first’ approach to design incredibly refreshing and this appealed to the values I aspire to achieve in the designs I create for clients.”
Fox has previously held interim MD, project management and business development roles within several construction businesses and has a degree in mechanical engineering. He is also is partway through his studies to become a quantity surveyor. In his new role, Fox will be responsible for ensuring client expectations and financial objectives are achieved from the pre-contract stage right the way through to final delivery and completion.
He said: “The ethos of the business is very aligned to mine in terms of creating workspaces according to the needs of the people using them. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do in the built environment and this also resonated with my studies. I am passionate about ensuring the buildings we design protect the environment and the mental health and wellbeing of those using the workspaces created.”
Mo Alimahomed
Mo Alimahomed has been promoted to associate director at accountancy firm Fortus in Leicester.
Alimahomed joined Fortus in 2020 during the pandemic and helped shape the new National Tax Advisory Team. During this time he recruited two trainees from within his own network to grow the Leicester team, building relationships across the practice and multiple offices, connecting with external stakeholders to offer tax advisory services and winning around £185,000 of work in 12 months.
He said: “I’m excited to start the next chapter of my journey at Fortus within the National Tax Advisory team and look forward to continuing the focus on maintaining excellence on our technical delivery (nationally), coupled with meaningful conversations around Tax with our valued clients.”
Chris Wilson, director and national head of tax advisory, added: “Mo joined Fortus just over a year ago and has made great progress in helping the team develop, particularly with his efforts in bringing new trainee members in to the team locally and helping to develop a consistent high quality output for our clients.
“As our team of talented tax professionals grows, Mo will continue to spend most of his time in our Leicester office, as a go-to contact for tax advisory related matters. His focus in the short term will be the continued progression and development of the team members reporting directly into him, as well as having a direct hand and influence on the client deliverables from the team nationally.”
