Walkers Crisps to create hundreds of East Midlands jobs

Walkers Crisps is set to create 215 jobs across the East Midlands after experiencing growth over the last 12 months.

The food giant is looking for staff at its Leicester and Lincoln plants as demand soars.

In Leicester, Walkers is looking for 150 permanent and temporary staff across its manufacturing and logistics departments, while in Lincoln the company has 35 vacancies in its food manufacturing line.

A spokesperson for Walkers said: “Walkers has continued to grow over the past year and continues to be the nation’s favourite crisps. It is looking to hire a number of roles at its Midlands sites to support this growth, providing full training on the job and with no experience required.”
