People: Law firm adds to dispute resolution team; former estate joins electrical firm

Law firm Bray & Bray has bolstered its growing dispute resolution team with the appointment of Richard Woodward as an associate solicitor.

Woodward joins the firm from Flint Bishop where he trained as a solicitor, and will work in the dispute resolution team that is headed up by commercial and civil litigation specialist Lorna Trueman.

A registered member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), Lorna Trueman joined Bray & Bray as Head of Dispute Resolution in 2020 from a leading regional law firm where she headed up the eight-strong dispute resolution team.

Trueman said: “Richard’s skills and experience make him the perfect fit for Bray & Bray, and will further enhance our ability to provide an outstanding level of service to clients.

A former estate agent has been added to the sales arm of a Northamptonshire electrical and mechanical contractor.

RK Electrical Mechanical Services has strengthened its employment team, with Richard Panter joining the company as head of sales and new dusiness.

Panter is a former estate agent with more than 25 years’ sales negotiation experience in the area, spending the majority of his career at firms in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

He said: “Having a background in estate agency provides me with a range of transferable skills. Over the years I have built up a host of contacts in the local area and I am looking forward to building on this in my new role as well as helping to meet the needs of those I already know.

“I will be located at the company’s headquarters in Desborough, anyone wishing to discuss their needs is invited to pop in for a friendly chat over a cup of coffee.”
