People: New planning director at logistics developer; Promotions at construction consultancy

Logistics property developer Tritax Symmetry has appointed Tim Partridge as a planning director bringing the total number of planning directors in the business to four.

Partridge has been working as a consultant for Tritax Symmetry for the last 12 months before taking on the permanent role in the Northampton office. He has over 30 years’ experience in the private sector working for businesses including Rubicon Planning and RPS. During his time at Tritax Symmetry, he has advised on strategic planning matters relating to Symmetry Park Gloucester and Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange.

Partridge said: “Having spent the last 12 months working with Tritax Symmetry as a consultant, I can appreciate the fabulous sustainable product we deliver and Tritax Symmetry’s growth ambitions. I have in-depth experience in advising on development plans and planning submissions and look forward to lending my expertise on a full-time basis.”

Construction consultancy Edmond Shipway has appointed two new associate directors in its Nottingham office.

Both Martin Farmer and Tom Mallory are longstanding members of the team having joined in 2006 and 2016 respectively.
