Plans revealed for new mixed-use scheme in Lace Market

A building formerly used as a textile and educational workshop could be changed into a mixed-use scheme that would include a cafe/bar, offices and apartments.

Perrymead Estates is behind the plans for 15-17 Stoney Street, in the heart of the city’s Lace Market. The new scheme would extend the building around the corner of Woolpack Lane and Stoney Street, with a cafe/bar being added to the ground floor and a new frontage and extrance on Woolpack Lane.

The scheme outlines plans for seven apartments and 3,600 sq ft of office space on the upper floors.

A planning statement from architect marsh:grochowski said: “By converting this building, it is being brought back into use, providing accommodation, office space and amenities to the local community, in a highly sought after area of Nottingham.”

Perrymead Estates already has a multimillion property portfolio, which includes the Lace Market’s Garage Studios office complex and Stoney Street Studios.
