Pepperells' new team in Lincoln

Pepperells Solicitors has added six new faces to its Lincoln team.

Joining the firm are: John Conlon, highly regarded for his expertise in child law, representing children, parents and family members along with 20 years’ experience in family law; Alison McGowan, a member of the Law Society Children Panel and the Association of Lawyers for Children, she specialises in complex court proceedings, including care, private law children matters, special guardianship and adoption; and Hannah Bell, who specialises in representing parents in arranging contact orders, residency and guardianship along with supporting parents and family members where the Local Authority has issued care proceedings or commenced pre-proceedings.

Also joining the team are Ivy Waddingham, family law legal assistant, Michelle Kent and Olivia Mychajluk who support the team with paralegal, administration and first line support.

Matt Forst has been promoted to managing director of Midlands-based MTMS, with previous managing director Malcolm Prentice taking up the position of group chairman.

MTMS, based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, currently services and maintains rolling stock and rail depot specialist equipment and carries out routine infrastructure tasks at more than one third of rail depots across the UK, serving such familiar names in mainline rail as First MTR South-Western Railway, Govia ThamesLink Railway, Hitachi Rail Europe, Arriva and Siemens.

Nottingham-based Omega Red, South Staffordshire Plc’s specialist earthing, lightning protection, surge protection and height safety business, has appointed Neil Chippindale as height safety technical manager.

Neil Shailer, managing director, Omega Red, said: “We’re dedicated in supporting our clients to protect those who work at height and offering our expertise and solutions. We’re delighted to welcome Neil to our business to lead this important service line and help more customers with their needs in this area. Neil is hugely experienced in height safety and as such is a valuable addition to our existing team. I look forward to working with him and his contribution to the team.”
