Law firm expands with senior hire
Law firm Banner Jones has expanded its care proceedings team with the appointment of senior solicitor Jason Burnett.
He returns to private practice following a period as in house counsel with a specialist laboratory that conducts drugs and alcohol testing for the Family Court.
Having previously practised as a child care solicitor in the East Midlands, Burnett will be based at the Banner Jones offices in Chesterfield and Mansfield, which provide representation to families and children facing proceedings and investigation by Social Care and Children’s Services throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
He has a strong forensic approach to his work and an interest in helping families where there are allegations of substance misuse, non-accidental injury and mental health difficulties.
