Jobs lost as Leicester textiles firm goes under
A Leicester clothing manufacturer has called in administrators.
Oaktree Garments, which has a factory on Kitchener Road in the city, has turned to Springfields Advisory to look after the day-to-day running of the firm.
In Oaktree’s latest available accounts, made up to May 31 2021, the firm employed 23 people. The firm owed creditors almost £620,000 and had assets of £20,528.
Documents field at Companies House show that Situl Devji Raithatha filed to place Oaktree into insolvency after the administration started on May 4.
