Architecture practice CPMG Architects has made a trio of appointments that support the practice’s architectural, interior design and talent development offerings.

Joining the practice is architect Antonio Ortiz, interior designer Robyn Hutton and Part 2 architectural assistant Abissha Suthanthirakumaran.

Suthanthirakumaran and Ortiz will be working out of CPMG’s London office in Farringdon, while Hutton joins the firm’s Nottingham headquarters.

She said: “I am thrilled to step into a role as an interior design project manager. The practice is at the forefront of some really exciting projects in the region that have been accelerated by industry trends – such as redesigning office spaces to meet the evolving hybrid working requirements of businesses.

“CPMG has excellent relationships spanning multiple sectors, which is testament to the quality of services provided. There are plenty of ongoing challenges that we need to help clients overcome including supply shortages and rising energy costs, increasing the emphasis on approaches such as value engineering. I’m pleased that my experience and ability has been recognised by CPMG, enabling me to join a forward-thinking team of professionals.”

Dawn Hanson, Rachel Galbraith and Andrew Casey.

MAF Finance Group has appointed two new relationship directors to meet increased demand for sustainability finance solutions within the agricultural sector across the East Midlands.

Andrew Casey joined MAF Finance Group earlier this year and moves to join the agricultural, renewable and sustainability team where he will bring his energy and enthusiasm to arrange funding for farmers looking to transition to a net zero future.

Dawn Hanson joins with a wealth of renewable energy experience having worked with the asset finance provider Lombard at the start of her career helping to fund solar, biomass and wind projects.

Both new recruits will be based out of MAF’s head office in South Normanton, Derbyshire, supporting farmers across the East Midlands and beyond.

Rachel Galbraith, director and head of agriculture, renewables & sustainability said: “It’s exciting to see the team grow as we continue to support this truly innovative sector. Farmers have always been ahead of other industries seeking to diversify their income streams and utilising government incentives such as the Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), whilst reducing their energy costs.

“I feel confident and excited that both Andrew and Dawn’s experience will help us arrange further funding packages that will allow more farmers to access sources of greener and cleaner energy. It’s an opportune time to join the team as we open up more conversations with farmers looking to make the transition to sustainable operations. I extend a huge welcome to them both as they complement our forward-thinking capabilities.”
