Nottingham partners take top corporate roles at listed law firm

Gateley Legal has appointed a new national head of corporate and a new regional counterpart, both of whom are based in Nottingham.

Partner Beth Mather will head up Gateley’s corporate team nationwide while fellow partner Victoria Elliott takes on the responsibility at the firm’s Nottingham office.

The pair both joined Gateley as trainees before progressing to partner level in 2019.

Mather said: “I am both delighted and excited to have this opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to this role. I have a raft of fresh ideas designed to encourage greater interaction between our corporate teams across our national network of offices. I believe key to this is leading our team in promoting our excellent and varied range of talent, while attracting new hires to expand our practice and our corporate offering.”

Elliott said: “I am extremely proud of the corporate team in Nottingham which is made up of a group of outstanding, talented and dynamic individuals. I am thrilled to take on this role and am looking forward to growing and developing the team to provide exceptional, second to none services and results for our clients.”
