Pulse Consult ready to light up the stage at Hot Property 2022

Pulse Consult managing director Ian Carey

The countdown is officially on for Nottingham Hot Property, so with just two weeks to go we sit down with headline sponsor Pulse Consult’s Emma Atkins to talk about her and the company’s experiences with the event so far.

What are you most looking forward to about Nottingham Hot Property 2022?

Hot Property is without a doubt Pulse’s favourite event in the business calendar. We have a lot of new team members this year who have all been told about the excitement of the night and they’re all looking forward to the experience. We also have a couple of new participants getting up on stage this year.

What do you think of this year’s theme, and do you have any football anecdotes for us?

We were all very proud when the Lionesses brought home the trophy earlier in the year. And, of course – with the great news of Nottingham Forest’s promotion to the Premier League this year (well, for most of us anyway, a couple of Derby fans in the office have been a bit quiet) I think the theme is a great choice. Quite a few of our team also managed to meet up at Wembley stadium for a beer or two and watched the big match.

Why did you decide to sponsor Hot Property?

This is our seventh year sponsoring the event. We always like to show our support to industry heads who are performing, and of course our own Pulse members who will be taking the Pryzm stage. It’s also a great way to treat our team to a fun night out.

How has the last year been for you?

It’s been so good for everyone to come out of the lockdown, especially our Nottingham team who’ve moved into a beautiful new office on the ground floor of the Birkin Building in the Lace Market. Owned by Spenbeck, who also take part in Hot Property, it used to be home to the nightclub Propaganda but has now been fitted out to form a light and airy modern space with some of the original features remaining. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep the DJ deck!

Aside from our exciting move, we’re really pleased to have been recently appointed on some key frameworks, including Leicester City Council, ESPO and Fusion21, which we’ve already used to deliver projects across the region. We’ve also expanded our offer over the past year to include sustainability, building surveying and health & safety services. The team have put in an incredible amount of hard work and are currently delivering some exciting projects across the UK for our clients.
