On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Ryley Wealth Management is celebrating a milestone after welcoming its tenth financial planner.
Bradley James brings a wealth of experience to the Nottingham-based financial advisory firm, having previously worked as a mortgage, protection and equity release advisor.
In his new role, James will advise both private clients and business owners.
He said: “I have always put trust at the forefront of my client relationships, and I strive to ensure they feel confident with their finances. My role is to provide them with the tools to take control of their future goals and aspirations.”
James’ appointment follows the recent arrivals of fellow financial planners Mike Holmes and Gabriella Witek-Morgan at the NG2-based business.
Elsewhere, Derbyshire’s Derwent Rural Counselling Service has strengthened its board of trustees.
New board member Jill Fortune is highly experienced in the development and delivery of educational programmes in the higher education (HE) and facilities management sectors, having monitored and advised on the quality of teaching and learning for HE, professional body qualifications and apprenticeship programmes.
Glinys Capewell and Jill Fortune
Glinys Capewell, meanwhile, brings 45 years’ experience of managing logistics and customs compliance teams within the steel industry to the organisation.
DRCS operates as a partner of Talking Mental Health Derbyshire (TMHD), a provider of the Talking Therapies programme for Derbyshire Health Care Foundation Trust. The organisation is the largest provider of counselling in Derbyshire.
Mark Serby, chair of trustees for the charity, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jill and Glinys onto the DRCS board as the organisation seeks to further our essential work and delivery of services across the county as mental health issues continue to dominate the headlines. They have a wealth of experience and skills which complement that of the current six other DRCS trustees.”
