On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Accountancy disruptor and certified B Corp Cooper Parry has created a new associate partner role and handed the title to thirteen people from across the business.
Carolyn Pears, Niall Chantrill, Tom Summers, Salvatore Mingoia, Helen Scothern, Andrew Holloway, Jake Mortland, Donna Challinor, Bijesh Morjaria, Marie Smith, Faye Wyles, Steve Round and Sharon Kaur are all promoted to the position.
The news follows the appointment of ex-Deloitte global MD Timothy Mahapatra as partner and head of deals. Ben Eason, business development director, is also set to be be made a partner at the firm.

Rob Morley and Claudia Henry
Civil and structural engineering firm Howard Ward Associates (HWA) has hired two new engineers.
Claudia Henry joins the Nottingham-based company as a structural engineer and Rob Morley as a principal engineer – upping its headcount to 16.
HWA has secured a pipeline of work for 2023 with a GVA of over £400m.
Dan Bailey, director at HWA, said: “Our strategy over the last 12 months has been to diversify our client base and the sectors we operate in and our efforts in delivering that strategy have really started to come to fruition. HWA is experiencing a welcome time of significant growth and innovation which is great following a challenging time for the industry.

Avant Homes has appointed a new group marketing manager.
Alicia Hattersley joins the Derbyshire firm from Gleeson Homes, where she spent two-and-a-half years as brand and communications manager.
She said: “Making a positive difference through marketing activity to help people buy new homes is something I find very rewarding.
“Being able to join Avant Homes when it is expanding at pace presented the ideal opportunity for me. I am going to further evolve our proposition, implement new campaigns and grow our marketing team to continue to provide an excellent service to our regional operating businesses.”
