Agency round-up: V Formation; Honest Communications

Nottingham-based marketing and PR agency, V Formation, has announced the promotion of two members of its team.

Amy Cooper is promoted to account manager: digital marketing and Lucy Wharton to account manager: PR.

Both joined V Formation as interns on the Nottingham Internship Scheme after completing English degrees at the University of Nottingham in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Cooper said: “I am incredibly grateful for the experiences and skills I have gained whilst working at V Formation and am eager to develop them further as account manager. I have enjoyed working with such a varied client base, from life sciences businesses to technology companies, and being able to apply my skills to ensure our clients are at the very top of their game.”

Wharton added: “I am delighted to be progressing my career at V Formation and working with our growing roster of ambitious clients to communicate their competitive edge. I am particularly looking forward to working with junior members of team to help develop their PR skills and expertise. I would like to thank V’s directors Hilary and Sue for their continual support, and look forward to the challenges and opportunities this new role will bring.”

The Honest Communications team

Derby-based PR agency, Honest Communications, has been selected to provide support for the Memoria & GreenAcres Transcendence Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023.

Honest has previously supported Hillier, David Austin Roses, and Haws among others at the prestigious, world-renowned show. The team behind the garden join a list of international brands that Honest represents, including Wilkinson Sword, elho, Baby Bio, and CJ Wildlife.

Sarah Parks, head of marketing for Darwin Alternatives, said: “We were looking for an agency with Chelsea experience and strong connections with the industry, and with the RHS and BBC Chelsea teams.
