On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Darren Toms (MD of Clumber), Prameela Tamber, Louise Cottam and Paul Milton (all Clumber directors)

Clumber Consultancy, the specialist pensions and ERA service provider for the UK insolvency market, is expanding, with Prameela Tamber joining as client director.

This move will now see the Nottinghamshire firm move into the South-East market.

Tamber will be based in London and has been brought on board to strengthen the fast-growing company’s ERA (Employment Rights Act) team.

She brings with her 13 years of ERA experience, having previously worked at a boutique insolvency practice in the capital.

Clumber Consultancy is led by managing director Darren Toms.

He said: “We’re delighted that Prameela will be spearheading our growth in the south east of England and of course in the capital and the heart of the financial sector.

“Prameela will give our ERA team presence in the South-East, whilst the rest of the team covers the rest of the UK from their Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire bases.

“Prameela’s primary focus is to work on ERA assignments in the South-East region but she will also be operating in a Business Development role, servicing existing and new clients in and around London.”

Clumber Consultancy’s primary focus is compliance and ensuring that employees receive what they are entitled to, following redundancy in an insolvency appointment.

Kate Coulson and Caroline McDonald

Northamptonshire-based HR consultancy, Ena HR & Training, is growing with the appointment of its first employee.

Caroline McDonald, a highly experienced HR practitioner, joins Ena HR & Training from Northamptonshire Police where she spent 25 years in a wide variety of HR roles including in leadership and learning and development.

She said: “I’m delighted to be joining Ena HR & Training at such an important time for the business and I’m really looking forward to getting to know all our clients. I will be supporting them across the full HR spectrum and advising them in any way I can.”

Kate Coulson, Ena HR & Training’s founder and director, said: “It’s a really exciting moment for our business and I am delighted to have Caroline onboard. Hiring an HR superstar like Caroline just 18 months after launching the business is a real coup!

“She brings with her a wealth of experience and additional skills, not least experience with team development and selection methods, which will be hugely valuable to the company.

“For me personally, it’s fantastic to have someone with Caroline’s experience to discuss ideas with and I am confident she can really support and add value to our growing list of clients.”
