NG lands prestigious Nottingham resi management instruction
NG Chartered Surveyors’ new block management service had landed a significant new Nottingham instruction.
On behalf of client River Crescent Limited, the agency has taken over the management of the River Crescent scheme – a block of 128 apartments in the Colwick area of the city.
NG said that River Crescent had been suffering from a lack of transparency in the running of the service charge, with the leaseholder experiencing increasing costs with “seemingly little return on investment”.
After a competitive bid process, NG came out as the preferred management partner for River Crescent with director James McArthur and Jamie Pervin, facilities management surveyor, leading the management of the the building
McArthur said: “This one of the most prestigious blocks in Nottingham with amazing views over the Trent and we are really proud to have won the instruction.
“There are plenty of works to be getting on with; one of our first jobs is rebuilding the trust with the freeholder and leaseholders to ensure that the property is properly maintained. It is an exciting project to be involved with and both myself and Jamie are relishing the opportunity.”
Pervin added: “This is an exciting block to manage, as there is a wide variety of services to take on. Fire safety is our number one priority, and we have hit the ground running with new fire alarm systems and improved fire strategies. The building and grounds are stunning, and they are a pleasure to manage.”
