Green light for housing on former bus station site in Nottingham

Plans to build a new residential scheme on a former coach station site in Nottingham have been given the green light.

Nottingham City Council has endorsed proposals from MyPad, the applicant, for the development of 40 homes on the vacant Beechdale site, formerly housing the Yeates Bus and Coach Station.

The development will consist of houses and apartments, offering a variety of bedroom options ranging from one to four, with 20% of the properties designated as affordable housing.

These plans were submitted in November 2021 and received approval from the council on August 21.

The developer will provide £186,815 in Section 106 funds to lessen the effects of the new housing on the local community.
