Software firm announces acquisition of Australian tech company

Nottingham-based Ideagen, a provider of software solutions for regulated industries, has bought Australian tech disruptor Op Central.

Op Central, based in South Yarra, Victoria, is Ideagen’s third Australian acquisition this year.

The AI system quickly makes procedures, processes, and learning materials, sending them to multiple sites instantly.

It customises content for different regulations, and any central updates apply everywhere, lowering the risk of outdated procedures.

This is crucial for safety and quality in a fast-changing regulatory world, letting organisations confidently uphold a single source of truth for customer and operational protection.

Op Central is Ideagen’s sixth acquisition in 2023, following Qadex in January, Tritan and OnePlace Solutions in May, DevonWay in September, and Lucidity in October.

Josh Cairns, CEO of Op Central, said: “Joining Ideagen brings immense opportunities for Op Central and we’re excited about the possibilities this could unlock.

“We know our customers see our platform as a game changer in helping them manage multi-site operations. Our tech, combined with Ideagen’s reach and resources, means we can empower more organizations globally to increase their operational consistency.

“We’re thrilled about the potential this move brings, as it sets the stage for a new chapter of growth for us.”
