Land deal to bring forward £25m housing scheme in Nottingham suburb

Housebuilder Strata has completed a land deal which will bring forward a £25m scheme in a suburb of Nottingham.

“Grace”, in Arnold, will comprise 45 four- and five-bedroom detached homes, alongside nine affordable homes.

The Section 106 agreement will see Strata contribute a total of £450,000 to fund local healthcare, education and transport. As part of this, the firm has pledged to support local education and employability through employment opportunities on site and training delivered to upskill the local workforce. Strata will also be working with local schools to provide informative workshops and sessions to local students.

Alan Swain, land and partnerships director at Strata, said: “This scheme is one of many to come in our growing Midlands cluster, and we can’t wait to deliver contemporary, energy efficient homes in the Arnold area. The team are extremely proud and we cannot wait to see our customers move into their Strata homes and for this neighbourhood to come to life.”
