Housing specialist’s new addition cements leadership team

Housing and regeneration specialist Lovell has made an addition to its leadership team with the appointment of Mark Roe as partnerships director in the East Midlands.
Roe has held senior positions in various housing associations, particularly within development and asset management.
His career also spans the charitable sector, where he has taken on leadership roles, including managing a furniture reuse charity and working for a social enterprise, which provided work experience and employment opportunities for young people.
In his most recent position as head of delivery for emh group, Roe played an instrumental role in overseeing key projects alongside Lovell, including the Henson Park and Standard Hill developments.
He said: “Over the past four years, Lovell has shown real commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable homes and creating thriving communities – something that deeply resonates with my own values. Having seen the success of partnerships firsthand, it felt like a once-in-a-career opportunity to work for such a purposeful organisation. That shared mission and values across the team have truly come through at every stage of the process and onboarding experience since I joined.
“I am excited to be joining and helping build upon the strong foundations laid by the East Midlands team over the past couple of years. I want to continue facilitating that growth journey, working with the senior team to enhance connections with registered providers, local authorities, regeneration partners, and other key stakeholders. I am looking forward to building relationships and ensuring that the initial vision of our partners is realised on projects and that I can enhance a strong track record in development partnerships.”
Beth Bundonis, regional managing director at Lovell said: “Mark brings a wealth of experience and a passion for creating positive social impact to this role. His leadership and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow our presence in the East Midlands and deliver high-quality, sustainable homes that meet the needs of local communities.
“Meeting like-minded people in this industry is what our partnerships are all about. Beyond his professional endeavours, Mark showcases a strong social conscience and is driven to create positive social change – something we are proud to welcome into our team.”
