Nottingham construction firm lands £1.25 Brum contract

A Nottingham construction firm is celebrating a £1.25m contract win to develop 24 apartments in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

DL Rhodes & Son will build 13 two-bed and 11 one-bed apartments on behalf of Trigram Properties on Carver Street as part of regeneration plans to attract young professionals to the area.

The developmentwill also include a ground floor retail/commercial unit of 680 sq ft with the two floors of apartments above, together with 26 car parking spaces.

Nigel Rhodes, managing director at DL Rhodes & Son said: “We are delighted to announce our involvement in this project with Trigram Properties in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. We have had a very good relationship with the firm for a long time and after Bill Houle asked us to have a look at the site, we were able to offer reassurance to complete the job.”

The apartments will be sold as off-plan investments, as buy-to-let or buy-to-live units via Prosperity.
