Edozo chooses East Midlands for next phase launch
A London-based online platform and social network for commercial property surveyors has chosen the East Midlands its UK roll-out.
The digital platform, called edozo, will allow professionals working in the region’s commercial property market to share detailed property transaction records, potentially overcoming the limitations set by current data-sharing methods.
Edozo was set up by Marcus Ginn in 2014 and has been trialled in Yorkshire, the north-west and the north-east. Now the product will be hard-launched in the East Midlands
Deepesh Shah, chief marketing office at Edozo, told TheBusinessDesk.com: “There have been a couple of similar players in the market, but surveyors haven’t been happy with their offering.
“What Edozo is doing is making the data collected more transparent for surveyors. Our platform not only enables surveyors to share data, it informs them of important upcoming events such as lease renewals, rent reviews and break options.
“We’ve built the system on the feedback gained from surveyors who have used similar but inferior platforms in the past.
“Edozo is expanding fast and our next port of call is the East Midlands where we’ll soft launch on 14 June. We want to test the market first. Yorkshire was an ideal test market for us, and we see a lot of similarities with the East Midlands.”
Edozo says it will serve as a social network within the industry, creating an online community for the region’s commercial surveyors.
