Foxes bag £93m for title win… but still trail big guns

Leicester City will receive nearly £100m from the Premier League for the 2015/16 season, it has been revealed.
The Foxes will net £93,219,598 for their title winning season – still behind Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal – who became the first club in Premier League history to receive more than £100m.
The money is a combination of the Premier League “equal share”, facility fees, merit payment, overseas TV, and central commercial cash.
For finishing bottom of the league, Aston Villa received £66,622,215.
In the 2014/15 season Leicester received £71,608,240 for finishing in 14th place.
