Distribution firm motors on to Blenheim Park

Blenheim Park, Nottingham, where Blue Marble Asset Management has negotiated a new 10 year lease on Unit 6A.

Distribution firm FPS has relocated to Blenheim Park in a deal which has seen the firm take a 10-year lease on a 13,500 sq ft industrial unit.

FPS employs over 1,000 people across the UK through a network of 23 sites, including a National Distribution Centre based in Sheffield.

Acting on behalf of CRT Property Investments, real estate asset management company, Blue Marble Asset Management (Blue Marble), brokered the deal.

CRT Property Investments acquired Unit 6A on Blenheim Park in February, with the assistance of Blue Marble, as part of a multi-million pound off-market investment in 34,000 sq ft of prime industrial space in Blenheim Park.

Property investment and development drector for CRT Property Investments, Shaun O’Brien, said: “We’re extremely pleased to have signed a new lease with FPS and look forward to working with them over the next ten years. The unit is a fantastic building in a prime location, it is easy to see why they have chosen to stay here.

“We would like to thank Blue Marble for their great work. As always it has been a pleasure working with the team.”

Tim Matthews, chief executive of Blue Marble Asset Management, said: “Within six months of the purchase of this unit, we have successfully renewed the lease to the current tenant.

“This move was part of our strategy for this investment when we first advised CRT Property Investments Ltd on the purchase. We deliver added value to meet our clients’ investment objectives by pro-active management to a pre-agreed strategy.”
