Law firm to ‘create own Midlands Engine’ as Osborn takes over

Law firm Weightmans has announced partner Richard Osborn as regional office head for the Midlands region, incorporating leadership of the firm’s Birmingham and Leicester offices.

Osborn has been the regional office head in Leicester since June 2014 and has also worked in Birmingham for a number of years.

He said: “Having been part of the Weightmans Leicester team for over two years, I am delighted to be at the forefront of this new strategy to combine strengths and increase the sense of unity between the firm’s Birmingham and Leicester offices.

“The role is just one step we’re taking towards creating our very own ‘Midlands Engine’ and I look forward to collaborating with colleagues to work towards this vision and, most importantly, to serving our clients across the region.”

Senior partner Dan Cutts said: “The merging of this role adds more consistency and focus to our primary aim of providing a full service, flexible offering to clients wherever they are in the Midlands.
