On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Stewart O'Dell

Barclays has appointed Stewart O’Dell as area business manager for Northamptonshire.

O’Dell, will lead a team of 11 relationship managers across the county with teams in Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and Northampton as well as St Neots and Huntingdon. The team manages relationships with businesses with a turnover of between £400,000 and £5m.

O’Dell said: “I am pleased to have been offered the role as Area Business Manager here in Northamptonshire. This is a varied and diverse economic geography and I look forward to playing our part in supporting and developing the local economy.”

Core Management Logistics (CML) has appointed a new commercial manager.

Brian Richman

Brian Richman will be overseeing the development of international freight sales and will be based at Magna Park in Lutterworth.

Richman has worked in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and most recently Shanghai, where he worked in air and sea freight forwarding concentrating on the retail/apparel and FMCG industry.

He said: “I am joining CML at an exciting time in its development, as we bring together our dynamic overseas trade partners to meet the demands of retail importers.

“CML brings first class capabilities to the market whilst still being able to deliver a personalised and flexible approach to end to end supply chain logistics.”
