On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
KPMG has made 103 promotions across its Midlands offices, which includes five new partners and 12 directors.
Chris Pole (restructuring), Louise Scott-Worrall (learning solutions), Michelle Kavanagh (risk assurance and internal audit), Mike Tuhme (tax) and Siobhan Lodder (tax) are the five new partners in the Midlands practice. All were previously directors for the firm, and following the annual appraisal review process, they joined the partnership on 1 November.
Included in the total are three directors, three senior managers, six managers and seven assistant managers in the Nottingham office.
Mike Steventon, Midlands regional chair at KPMG, said: “I’m delighted to announce a record year of partner and director promotions within our Midlands practice. This round of promotions reflects the strong growth in our business in 2016 and our aspirations and confidence in the Midlands.
“I am proud of the talent and energy within our Midlands team and the new partners and directors have very much earned their promotions. They will be instrumental in driving our future growth as we work with clients in the private and public sectors to improve their organisations and navigate through the current economic and political uncertainties.”
Nottingham estate agency David James has appointed a director to head up its lettings division.
Rebecca Roys joins David James Lettings with a remit to lead the family-run agency’s expansion in the city’s busy property market. The lettings division currently employs five property specialists and Roys’ appointment will be the first of a raft of new hires as the business grows.
Roys joins the agency following a 10 year career in finance, qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG before spending five years with Boots Opticians as a finance manager.
