YourNews: Rothera Sharp Celebrates 30 Years In Wollaton

One of the region’s leading law firms is celebrating 30 years at its Wollaton branch.

Rothera Sharp solicitors has been working from its office on Bramcote Lane in the leafy suburb of Nottingham since 1986, which originally opened under the name German & Soar. Formerly Rothera Dowson, the firm recently merged with Sharp Young & Pearce to form Rothera Sharp in June 2016.

The merger has seen the firm go from strength-to-strength and expand its reach across Nottingham, with Wollaton being one of seven branches across the region, in addition to its flagship offices in The Lace Market.

Rothera Sharp partner and Wollaton branch manager Jayne Smith said: “I grew up in Wollaton and it has been a pleasure to serve the local community over the past 30 years.

“We have helped many generations of the same families here and we want to continue to do so for the next 30 years. The firm has expanded significantly and the latest merger means that we are able to help more of Nottingham’s residents. It’s fantastic to be able to celebrate this milestone with our staff, clients and agents”

The occasion was celebrated with an open day at the branch, inviting some of the local clients and agents to enjoy a slice of cake and a glass of champagne.
