Media Mix: Mills Media, Pro.Med Laser Clinics

NORTH West production company Mills Media has spent £40,000 developing its business TV department.

The Birkenhead-based firm has invested in the latest tapeless HD camera and new AVID editing software. It is also expanding its two in-house editing suites.

Part of the funding came from Invest Wirral’s Big Grant scheme but it also secured finance from NatWest and Fineline Media Finance.

Head of production Barrie Farrell said: “The expansion of technology in the department means that we can offer a greater package of production in terms of picture quality and turnaround.

“The equipment is available for wet hire and with two studios we can accommodate a range of projects at the same time.”

CHESHIRE-based Pro.Med Laser Clinics has revamped its website to bring it in line with the company’s new corporate identity and social media strategy.

The Frodsham-based business has three clinics dealing with laser treatment for hair removal, tattoo removal and anti-aging procedures. It has recently opened a clinic in North Wales and changed its name from Northwest Laser Clinics.

Managing director Jan Williams said: “The new website will allow us to extend the Pro.Med brand nationally. We pride ourselves on our being totally accessible and listening to our clients’ needs and hopefully these values will be communicated through the new website.”
