Liverpool legals form alliance

A UK-wide membership organisation that supports the interests of small and medium sized law firms is launching a new branch in Liverpool, after strong interest from city centre lawyers.
The Nationwide Solicitors Alliance, based in Bootle, is launching a new alliance in central Liverpool later this week, in recognition of the strong membership growth it has seen from legal practices in the city centre.
Law firms Kirwans, Quinn Barrow and The Dures Partnership are the newest members to join the organisation to explore joint marketing, networking and cross-firm referrals opportunities.
Steve Battarbee, commercial director of the Nationwide Solicitors Alliance, said: “We’ve seen significant interest from city centre legal firms over the past few months and we’ve moved to cater for this.
“Liverpool has many excellent high street legal practices and this new alliance will provide a framework to enable them to promote themselves and reduce acquisition costs within the NSA brand”.
The NSA has more than 85 member practices covering 150 locations. It helps national members to form local networks to market, share knowledge and good practice and save money through buying groups.
