Eastlands Homes buys into Quattro Park

HOUSING association Eastlands Homes has bought purpose built offices at Quattro Park in East Manchester for an undisclosed sum.
Detailed planning consent for the 20,000sq ft unit office and depot unit has been granted, and contractor Pochins Construction has started on site, with completion of the building due in spring 2010.
The facility, on Pottery Lane in Longsight, will include approximately 10,000 sq ft of office space in addition to the maintenance and stores depot. It is the first unit to be pre-sold at the site.
David Williams, deputy chief executive of Eastlands Homes, said: “We have worked closely with Quorum over the past year to secure what for us is a perfect site for our new property services base.
“The development will give us easier access to all our homes and enable us to further improve our maintenance and improvement services for our customers.”
Developer Quorum Investments has been working with landowner Manchester City Council and South Manchester Regeneration to develop the site, which it said is strategically positioned on the inner ring road, and will contribute to the continued regeneration of the area.
Joint agents Colliers CRE and Davies Harrison are acting on behalf of Quorum Investments.
