Comedian Jo Caulfield to host 2021 Rainmaker Awards
The Rainmakers return in-person next month with stand-up comedian Jo Caulfield hosting the corporate finance awards evening for the first time.
Jo will be familiar to viewers of Mock The Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks as well as Radio 4 listeners, where she has her own shows as well as being a regular guest on shows including The News Quiz and Just A Minute.
More than 300 people will be in attendance on September 9 for the awards evening at the Midland Hotel, Manchester.

The 2021 shortlist was drawn up after more than 30 senior professionals from the region’s corporate finance community discussed data kindly provided by Experian. Representatives of more than 100 firms were then invited to vote for the winners.
Leading specialist recruitment company Michael Page is the headline sponsor for this year’s awards. Award sponsors include law firm CMS, Manchester venture capitalist firm a2e Industries, and CurveBlock, the property fintech company.
The afterparty sponsor is The Alchemist and the event is being supported by Manchester-based MC2.
