Rudy’s reveals location of its 27th pizza Neapoletana restaurant opening

Altrincham will be the site for the 27th Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana restaurant when it opens next month.

The food business, part of the Manchester-based Mission Mars Group, will create 30 jobs with the opening, with recruitment days for both full or part time positions to join ‘La Famiglia’ closer to the opening date.

The restaurant will be locatd in the former OneCentral food court on Central Way, in the heart of the vibrant Manchester suburb.

The new pizzeria will bring a facelift to Charis House, introducing a new mezzanine level, extension to the side/rear and repositioning of the external stairwell, providing a spacious restaurant with more than 100 covers, alongside outdoor dining options.

Since launching in 2015 in Ancoats, Rudy’s quickly gained a cult following for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas and quality ingredients, and the new opening will mark the brand’s seventh pizzeria in Greater Manchester and its 27th in the country.

Born out of passion for pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, serving classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples, the birthplace of pizza.

Rudy’s also pays homage to famous pizzerias around the globe with its rotating specials, bringing interesting and exciting flavour combinations to its fans.

Its dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour which ferments for at least 24 hours, alongside the best quality ingredients from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

In accordance with authentic Neapolitan techniques, the dough is cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for around 60 seconds, resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised cornicione – the edge or rim of the pizza.

We can’t wait to launch our newest site in Greater Manchester and welcome both residents and visitors to enjoy a slice of Naples right here in Altrincham.”
