NW Aerospace Alliance backs India office

NORTH West aerospace companies looking to trade with India will be able to access a new facility on the Sub-Continent.

The North West Aerospace Alliance – the sector support group for the industry – has helped fund the permanent office in Bangalore.

The NWAA is supporting and has helped to underwrite the facility, opened by national aerospace organisation ADS and The UK Advanced Engineering Representative Office.

The base has been created to assist in the development of UK companies’ business interests in India, and is based in the lConcorde Tower of the UB City  in Bangalore.

NWAA member companies can rent access to the facility, which will provide the use of an office address, hot desk facility, and support from a UK AERO expert office manager.

Martin Wright, chief executive of the NWAA, said: “India is a crucial emerging marketplace and an important destination for many North West aerospace businesses.

“The NWAA has chosen to back this important facility which will give companies hoping to operate in this part of the world an important first step on the ladder.”
