Business Doctors sales gets shot in arm

MERSEYSIDE coaching and consultancy firm Business Doctors has hit record turnover this year, boosted by an award win from its local Chamber.
The business, headquartered in Newton-le-Willows with nine franchises across the UK, expects full year turnover to the end of April to come in at £750,000, a 20% increase on the previous year.
These figures were bolstered by a 160% increase in business in the final quarter. The company puts this down to an increase in consumer confidence and winning the Training and Education Award at the Sefton Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
Rod Davies, director of Business Doctors, said the company has seen upwards of ₤200,000 in new business come in following the recognition from Sefton Chamber.
He said: “There has clearly been an increase in consumer confidence which we all welcome. This has lead to businesses beginning to feel a bit more secure and optimistic about the future and more are now in a position to call upon Business Doctors to help them grow their businesses further.
“After our Training and Education Award from the Sefton Chamber of Commerce we saw a flood of new business coming in.”
Business Doctors provides support and advice to small and medium-sized businesses, from strategies for sales and profit growth to people engagement and help with accessing funding and support.
The company, set up by Mr Davies and Matt Levington in 2004, employs 15 people full time with 60 associates.
