Confidential acquires How-Do

ONLINE lifestyle publisher Confidential Publishing has acquired media website How-Do and property site Place North West for an undisclosed sum.

The deal, which was announced on Friday, will create a combined team of 32 sales and editorial staff, although it is understood that at least three former members How-Do Publishing – two sales staff and one director – will leave the business.  All of the sites will continue to operate from Quay House in Manchester.

Confidential Publishing currently operates websites covering the Manchester, Leeds, London and Liverpool markets.

In a statement published on both the How-Do and Manchester Confidential sites late last week, Confidential publisher Mark Garner said: “Coming together will allow us to enhance our existing titles and also develop new opportunities.

“Our readers will see the fruits of these new initiatives in the coming weeks and months.”
