Awards for eight new Lancashire businesses

BUSINESSES from across Lancashire have been celebrated in this year’s No Limits Celebrating Success awards.
The annual event is staged to showcase the achievements of the No Limits programme which launched in 2007 and has assisted 2,750 new businesses so far with a range of advice, training and grants.
The programme is also credited with creating almost 2,500 jobs across Pennine Lancashire and safeguarding 1,500 more.
The awards recognise those companies assisted by No Limits that are showing great growth and potential.
The winners this year included: business growth – Burnley-based Crown Cabinets; success in business – Hyndburn-based York Developments; success through innovation – Pendle-based Doris Systems Global; success in construction – Hyndburn Electrical and Plumbing Services.
Other winners included: women in business – Pendle-based Little Monkey’s; young enterprise – Hyndburn-based Peel Park Design; business champion – Darwen-based Traditional and Modern; No Limits 1,000th start – Burnley-based Bunches.
Dennis Mendoros, the Chair of Regenerate Pennine Lancashire, said: “I sincerely believe that these are the most important business awards.
“Start ups are the oxygen feeding our economic growth and this is an opportunity to recognise that success.”
