Buyer sought for Wirral garden centre

A BUYER is being sought for a garden centre at Neston, Wirral, after the company which operates the site was placed into administration.

Paul Flint and Brian Green from KPMG’s Restructuring team in the North West were appointed as joint administrators of Burtons Garden Nurseries Limited on February 3.

The company, which operates from an eight acre site in Neston, Cheshire, and has three employees, consists of a garden centre and the rental of a number of retail outlets to third-party trading concessions.

The administrators are continuing to operate the business while they review the options for the company. No redundancies have been made.

Joint administrator and associate partner Paul Flint said: “We are currently seeking a buyer for the business and its assets, and would encourage any interested parties to contact us as soon as possible.”
