RSM Tenon in tallks with Grant Thornton on IVA business

ACCOUNTANCY firm RSM Tenon is in talks to sell its £5m turnover IVA business to larger rival Grant Thornton.
In a brief statement to the Stock Market, RSM Tenon said there was no certainty a deal for the Manchester-based unit, which employs 60 people would be completed.
RSM Tenon said: “The company announces that it is in exclusive discussions with Grant Thornton to dispose of the IVA business of RSM Tenon Recovery.
“The IVA business is a stand-alone activity based in Manchester that employs approximately 60 members of staff.
“The proposed sale does not include the Company’s debt management business or any other part of RSM Tenon Recovery.”
