Peel opens Liverpool Waters project office

PEEL Group has opened a dedicated project office for its Liverpool Waters scheme in the city.

The office, which will be headed by development investment surveyor Ian Pollitt, will be at The Quay on Princes Dock, a Peel building.

Peel said it was a significant development for the £5.5bn scheme which will involve the regeneration of 60 hectares of docklands.

Mr Pollitt said: “We are at a stage where a permanent project office is required so we can better co-ordinate our investment and delivery activity for the Liverpool Waters project.
 
“It will be the first time Peel has had a permanent base in the city centre and is a reflection of the company’s continued commitment to the city and to the delivery of the Liverpool waters vision.”

Property adviser Dunlop Heywood has also taken space at The Quay. It has three people at present but plans to have 10 within 18 months.
