APPOSING, the Liverpool-based mobile and digital creative studio, has completed work on a new application which helps delayed travellers claim the compensation.
The free Airclaim app, created for Lawyers4U, allows passengers whose flights are delayed for more than three hours to claim for reimbursements that they are legally entitled to.
Apposing designed, created and branded the application which follows a change in European law that says passengers flying from the EU or on European airline flights destined for the EU should be compensated if their flight is delayed for more than three hours, overbooked, cancelled, or if they are denied boarding.
Apposing’s managing director Dave Brown said: “We’ve really enjoyed working with Lawyers4U, designing and creating a branded app which reflects the innovative nature of the Airclaim service. Many people are put off claiming what’s rightfully theirs by lengthy processes, lost information, multiple forms to fill, and stories of airlines holding up proceedings with incorrect advice.
“Airclaim is quick, reliable, and backed by a team of top lawyers and barristers who take the claim further if the airline refuses to pay out. Airclaim’s user experience was designed so a passenger’s claim could be open before they’ve even left the airport.”

BARGAIN Booze is running a Christmas advertising campaign on ITV and on national radio.
The ad parodies an ambassador’s reception – a setting first used for a Ferrero Rocher campaign – where Scotch eggs are hand delivered on a silver platter to party guests.
As part of the campaign, Bargain Booze will giveaway thousands of free Scotch eggs to customers on Christmas Eve.
Adam Burnett, Bargain Booze’s marketing director, said: “With its stripped-back style of humour and clear message of great
booze and great bargains, this new campaign supports our proposition of simplicity and straightforward value. We expect it to deliver strong footfall for our Franchisees this Christmas.”
The advert has been developed by Bargain Booze’s new advertising agency More. Bargain Booze is owned by Crewe-based Conviviality Retail which also operates Wine Rack.

Victoria Tennant, e-commerce manager for the Transpennine Express, said: “We have experienced a 30% growth in site traffic
year-on-year, from both mobile and desktop visits, and recognise what a vital role our digital capabilities play in overall future growth.
“We had continued to adapt our previous site and cater for the ever-evolving mobile consumer, but the time was right to lay the foundation for even bigger increases in digital revenues with a complete overhaul.”

RETAIL marketing agency the Market Creative has devised the brand identity and marketing campaign for Bohen, a new concept
for buying fitted kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms backed by builders’ merchant Grafton GB.
The Market Creative devised the name, identity and proposition for the new brand, which is aimed at high income women aged over 45.
A multichannel campaign launches Bohen on 27 December, supporting the opening of the first 13 showrooms as well as the bohen.co.uk website.
Managing director Sue Benson said: “Getting involved in a brand right from the embryonic stage is particularly exciting, but also a mammoth job. The last 12 months have taken us from an extensive journey into customer insight to the strategic development of the brand and finally to the launch campaign itself. We’re delighted to have been involved at each and every stage of this journey. It’s been a fascinating process, but the work doesn’t stop here.”
