NHS Trust to host Meet the Buyer event

BUSINESSES can find out more about opportunities to win work from the NHS at an event this week.

Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust is holding two ‘Meet the Buyer’ events on Friday January 17 at its headquarters at Liverpool Innovation Park. A morning session will start at 10am and the afternoon session will start at 2pm.
 
Each will be opened by Bernie Cuthel, chief executive of LCH and provide information about key areas which the Trust is focussing on with regards to buying over the next two years. It will also include an interactive presentation about ‘Top Tips for Tendering’.
 
Attendees will also get an opportunity to meet buyers from LCH, find out about local business support networks and also to network with other businesses over lunch.
 
Those attending will also have the opportunity to take part in the event marketplace, which will feature representatives from the Trust procurement department and business support agencies across the city, including Liverpool Vision, Tender Management Consultancy Ltd, RLK Partnerships and Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.   
 
Bernie Cuthel said, “Meet the Buyer will provide us with a fantastic opportunity to share advice and guidance with local businesses on how to win business in the NHS.

“The event will also provide attendees with an insight into purchasing and tendering in LCH, including an opportunity to meet the buyers for a range of medical and non-medical products.”
