Viva Brazil to invest £250k in Liverpool flagship

VIVA Brazil restaurant in Liverpool is to receive a £250,000 facelift, including a new first floor dining area aimed at private parties.

The investment will increase capacity at the restaurant on Castle Street from around 120 to 200 covers.

Managing director Andrew Aldrich, who also runs restaurants in Cardiff and Glasgow, said: “Liverpool is our flagship restaurant and has been a tremendous success since it opened just over three years ago,

“We feel now is the time to give the restaurant a facelift. It is perfect timing with preparations now starting for the World Cup in Brazil. We are expecting a fantastic atmosphere here in the restaurant throughout the World Cup and have lots of events planned.

“The money is being invested on improving the décor and opening upstairs. This will enable us to cater for an additional 80 guests upstairs and also provide a private area for parties. We are receiving an increasing number of inquiries for both private and corporate parties and this will be the perfect location”

Mr Aldrich from Stockport  hopes to open Viva Brazil restaurants in a further two cities in the next six months.
