Appointments: Begbies Traynor boosts partnership & more

INSOLVENCY firm Begbies Traynor has promoted Francesca Tackie from director to partner in its Manchester office.
She joined the Deansgate firm in 2010 after the acquisition of Tomlinsons. She has worked across a variety of industry sectors, particularly with SMEs, and experience in all aspects of insolvency involving both corporate and personal.
Paul Stanley, managing partner of the firm’s Manchester team said she had made a big impact since joining: “She has demonstrated not only a superb understanding of the insolvency market but an ability to build and nurture relationships based on trust, mutual interest and high levels of professionalism. She instinctively knows that clients are looking for innovative solutions and is regularly instructed personally and asked for by name by client contacts.”

LIVERPOOL branding agency, USP Creative, has boosted its senior team with the hire of Anna McCallum as client services director.
She brings more than 15 years’ marketing and agency experience having worked with clients including Diageo, adidas, Nintendo and Cancer Research UK.

LAW firm Hill Dickinson has strengthened its health team with the hire of Rebecca Livesey as an assistant solicitor after she finished her training contract with the firm.
She has also recently been joined in the team by specialist legal advisor James Clayton who will advise on health sector procurement issues. He has significant experience in acting for clients on contracts within the healthcare sector, principally for those involved in the provision of frontline services.

CHESHIRE-based retail and leisure asset management specialist Realm has made two key appointments.
The Alderley Edge company has hired John Magee to run the Lancashire retail outlet Freeport Fleetwood as centre manager, while Jacquie Davies will be based at the group HQ to take up a newly-created portfolio facilities management role.

VINCENTS Solicitors, the Preston-based firm, has expanded its family law team.
Care proceedings expert Allan Pickup, also a Deputy District Judge, has joined the firm from a Blackburn practice. The family department has also hired a new legal executive, Sarah Lloyd, to assist with its growing workload.
