Prague service wings in to Liverpool

CZECH Airlines has announced a twice weekly service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Prague, starting in May.

Liverpool will become the airline’s only UK destination and is one of a number of new European routes announced by the airline as part its growth plans.

Flights to the capital of the Czech Republic will start on May 18, departing Mondays and Fridays operating year round, as the company targets both leisure and business passengers.

Czech Airlines is the flagship carrier of the Czech Republic, which has been in operation since October 1923, making it one of the five oldest airlines in the world. Czech Airlines is a member of the SkyTeam alliance with carriers including Air France, KLM and Delta Air Lines.

Prague is the largest city in the Czech Republic and it is often described as one of Europe’s most beautiful, with a history that goes back a millennium.

The City boasts more than 10 major museums, along with numerous theatres, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibits with a modern public transportation system that connects the city.
