Alchemists Foundation goes for gold

A NEW social enterprise which aims to inspire people to realise their ambitions will launch in Manchester later in the month.
The Alchemists Foundation, created by Terry Hodgkinson – chairman of the regional development agency Yorkshire Forward, will feature a range of inspirational speakers at a string of events.
Speaking at the Manchester event at the Comedy Store on October 21 are: Tom Bloxham, founder of the property group Urban Splash; paraplegic ski champion Jo Willoughby; entrepreneur Deirdre Bounds and business speaker Nicky Pattinson. The showcase is the first in a series of national events.
Mr Hodgkinson, who co-founded the Wakefield construction firm Lemmeleg, said: “The Alchemists Foundation is the result of my own experiences, being inspired by key individuals in my life, and in passing that inspiration on to others.
“We are delighted to be able to host our launch event in Manchester with such an accomplished line-up of speakers who will be sharing their own unique stories of inspiration and motivation which have helped them achieve the success they enjoy today, and I’m sure that everyone will leave stirred by the stories they have heard.”
Tickets can be purchased on line via the foundations website: www.thealchemistsfoundation.com.
