Appointments: Secure Trust Bank; Brands Solution & more

AIM-listed challenger bank Secure Trust Bank is increasing its lending capacity for SMEs in Merseyside following the appointment of Alex MacDonald as regional sales manager.

MacDonald has seven years’ experience in invoice finance and joined from Royal Bank of Scotland Invoice Finance where he was business development manager.

He will be based in Secure Trust Bank’s Liverpool office working specifically with SMEs and their advisers in and around the Merseyside area.

Secure Trust Bank launched its commercial finance business in September last year to provide SMEs with a full range of asset based lending (ABL) products, ranging from £50,000 to £25m.

MacDonald said: “Secure Trust Bank’s Commercial Finance business has been expanding rapidly in the past few months, and the launch into Merseyside recognises significant opportunities in the area. I’m really looking forward to working alongside such a high-calibre team and supporting more SMEs across the North West.”

FAST moving consumer goods specialist Brands Solution has recruited three new employees to join its Cheshire head office.

Claire Campbell, Lesley James and Colin Martin have all joined the company to support the company’s growth and fulfil the business’ strategy to grow it presence in the UK and international marketplaces.
 
Campbell and Martin join the company as trade administrators,  responsible for looking after UK accounts, working with suppliers across the country and ensuring the right quality and quantity of products are available to fulfil customers orders both nationally and internationally.
 
James has  been appointed as an executive assistant and will be responsible for overseeing day to day tasks in the office as well as supporting Guy Fennell, managing director, on a range of projects.
 
Fennell said: “We’re proud to be expanding our head office team. All three new employees bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the FMCG sector and have already hit the ground running and started to develop good relationships with clients.”

RICHARD Savage has joined CBRE’s specialist markets team in Manchester as an associate director.

Savage joins from GVA in the city where he was part of its national healthcare team. He has extensive experience in the healthcare sector having previously providing valuation and consultancy services  to corporate, third sector and private clients on a national basis.

He has advised on a wide spectrum of care businesses including residential and nursing homes, specialist units, supported housing units and development sites.
