Harvey Nichols returns with festive Trafford Centre shop

LUXURY retailer Harvey Nichols is today opening a ‘pop-up’ outlet in the Trafford Centre selling fine foods and wine.

LIke last year, the 300sq metre unit on the upper floor of Peel Avenue will only be open for the duration of the peak trading period in the run-up to Christmas.

It will again provide competition to Selfridges which has a large food and drink department in its store at the landmark retail destination.

Licensing experts Anthony Lyons and Felicity Harris-Knott from Manchester law firm Kuits Solicitors advised Harvey Nichols – a long-standing client- on the licence application for the unit.

Unlike last year, when a temporary licence was granted, Harvey Nichols has obtained a permanent licence.

Anthony Lyons said: “We are always happy to work with Harvey Nichol, it is obviously a great brand.”
